Debrief 2026 - Wrapped!

Thank You, Debrief 2026
That's a wrap on the second Debrief Adventure Festival; what a night.
Just over 50 of us packed into The Church in Ipswich, and the energy in the room said everything about why this event exists. There's something special about a room full of people who all light up talking about the outdoors, whether that's someone's first wild swim or someone else's next big expedition. That's the vibe Debrief is built on, and this year it showed up in full force.
The Church itself deserves a shoutout too. It's not your standard event venue, and that's exactly the point, the space gave the night a bit of atmosphere and character that a generic conference room never could.
A few highlights from the night:
The buzz in the room before things even kicked off, people swapping stories (and kit!) meeting others who share the same slightly mad enthusiasm for getting outside
The talks and the energy they brought
Watching a genuinely grassroots, community-built event pull off its second edition and feel even stronger than the first
None of this happens without the people who show up, so thank you. Thank you for buying tickets, for turning up, for bringing your mates, for being part of a community that's still finding its feet but clearly has real momentum behind it.
Debrief started as a passion project, and right now we're in a take-a-leap moment. The adventure community here in East Anglia is bustling - our part? celebrating, inspiring, and collaborating. This is such an exciting time to be in our region. Planning has begun for Debrief 2027 - and plenty of other things to get involved with between now and then. Stay safe, Adam.
